The Second Annual Beef for Youth program will kick off on Wednesday July 21st at 6:00pm at the Rock Island County Fair. This year's event has brought an additional 9 youth into the program and helps young people learn the value of raising a beef animal for production purposes. The steer show at halter will take place on Wednesday and the awards presentation will take place on Thursday at 1:00 pm. At that time a contribution to the Make a Wish Foundation will be made on behalf of the kids who have participated.
