Farm Bureau Foundation Awards Scholarships to dependents of FB members

Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation awards 6 scholarships totaling $ 6,750

(Moline, IL) The Rock Island County Farm Bureau ® (RICFB) Foundation announced their annual scholarship winners at a luncheon today sponsored by the RICFB Foundation.

Orion High School Senior Alyssa Zwicker and Riverdale High School senior Jenna Hohenboken will be receiving a $ 2,000 and $ 1,750 scholarship, respectively, from the Wilbert and Carol Keppy Charitable Foundation. Zwicker is the daughter of Jim and Carla Zwicker of Orion and Hohenboken is the daughter of Harlan Drew and Elizabeth Hohenboken.

Four area QC graduating seniors will each receive a RICFB Foundation Scholarship award in the amount of $ 750.00. The scholarship recipients are as follows:

Christina Cerny, daughter of Dean and Mary Cerny, graduating senior at Rockridge High School.

Mitchel Heiar, son of Dale and Mary Heiar, graduating senior at Sherrard High School.

Danielle Mueller, daughter of Greg and Dianne Mueller, graduating senior at Rockridge High School.

Evan Price, son of Wanda Price, graduating senior at Moline High School.

Since 1988, the Rock Island County Farm Bureau and its Foundation CFB Foundation has awarded scholarships totaling over $ 50,000 to dependents of Farm Bureau members. Congratulations to these students on their strong academics, but most importantly their commitment to their communities through civic leadership involvement.
