Farm Bill Update to be held March 13

Are you interested in learning the details of the 2014 Farm Bill so that you can determine how it will impact your farm operation?  The University of Illinois Extension will host an informative webinar led by Jonathan Coppess, Clinical Assistant Professor of Law and Policy, University of Illinois.  This webinar will discuss the commodity program choices available in Title I of the 2014 Farm Bill.

Market Outlook with Dr. Elwynn Taylor – March 4 at Lavender Crest

Dr. Elwynn Taylor, Professor of Ag Meteorology at Iowa State University, will be the featured speaker on Tuesday, March 4 at the Lavender Crest Winery, 5401 US Highway 6, Colona.  The evening will begin with a buffet dinner at 6:15 p.m., followed by an update from Gold Star FS Grain Merchandiser, Mike Schaver.
