Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation offers 4 - $ 750 Scholarships and 2 - $ 2,500 scholarships from the Wilbert and Carol

The Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation is proud to announce the 2009 Foundation Scholarship Program. Applications for the scholarships are being accepted through Friday March 27, 2009 until 4:00 p.m. Applications are available at the Farm Bureau office, located at 1601 52nd Ave. Suite 3, Moline or on the website at www.ricofarmbureau.org. You may also email the office to receive an electronic version -direct those requests to: ricfbmember@qconline.com.
The Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation will be awarding Four - SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLAR ($750) scholarships. These scholarships have been established by the Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation. The applicant must be a high school senior. Applicant must be a member or dependent of a member in good standing of the Rock Island County Farm Bureau since January 2008.
Applicant can be majoring in any field; major does not have to be Ag related.
Applicants may apply for the Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship, as well as, the Keppy Scholarship. Scholarship applications will be judged separately, however, applicant can only win one scholarship from the RICFB Foundation. Also, applicant can only win one Keppy scholarship per year. In addition, beginning in 2009 previous Keppy Scholarship winners are ineligible from receiving future Keppy Scholarship funds. Criteria for selection will be achievements in agriculture activities, leadership in school and the community, scholastic achievement, and financial need.
The Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation are also administering 2 scholarships for the Wilbert and Carol Keppy Foundation. Applicants may be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in an undergraduate college degree program. TWO - $2,500 scholarships are available.
