Senator Jacobs named Friend of Agriculture

ACTIVATOR, the political involvement fund of Illinois Farm Bureau, is proud and excited to announce that State Senator Mike Jacobs has been awarded the organization's Friend of Agriculture Award for his voting record and efforts on behalf of farmers.

Farm Bureau leaders in Illinois' 36th State Senate District are also endorsing Senator Jacobs in his bid to win reelection to represent citizens in Rock Island County and the entire 36th Senate district.

"Senator Jacobs has been an advocate for farmers in this area and has taken those issues to Springfield," said RICFB President Phil Fuhr.

Senator Jacobs has been a strong advocate for protecting private property rights, strengthening educational opportunities for our children, and standing up for what is important to production agriculture.

"We are very appreciative of Senator Jacobs' work to make sure rural Illinois is not put on the back burner in Springfield, Fuhr said, " and Senator Jacobs voting record with Farm Bureau is near perfect with a 97.06% voting record showing his dedication to support Farm Bureau backed state legislation."

ACTIVATOR, Illinois Farm Bureau's Political Involvement Fund, is a voluntary, non-profit, unincorporated, segregated fund promoting the economic and social well being of farmers. ACTIVATOR trustees are local Farm Bureau leaders representing each county in the Illinois General Assembly Legislative District.
