Hort Outreach utilizes "Horticultural Holidays" in a one-day special lesson that covers an agriculture/horticulture topic. We use Master Gardeners who need volunteer hours AND who are interested in working with youth to facilitate our programs throughout the schools. Our program reaches urban students in grades K-5 and provides agriculture education to urban students (city populations of 20,000-45,000).  Find out more about Hort Outreach here.
