Jim McCormick is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AgMarket.Net®, the Farm Division of John Stewart and Associates. With more than three decades in the agricultural industry, Jim has built deep expertise across the grain, livestock, and energy markets, serving individual and commercial clients nationwide as a commodity broker.
Jim specializes in designing effective risk-management and marketing strategies—drawing on futures, options, forward contracting and one-on-one consulting—to give clients the tools and confidence to navigate volatile markets and make informed decisions. An Indiana native and Purdue University graduate with a degree in Agricultural Business Management, he began his career as a grain merchandiser before moving into commodity brokerage. That commercial background continues to shape how he reads the market from both sides of the trade.
A sought-after voice on agricultural markets and economic conditions, Jim has spoken across the country to farmers, producers, farm groups, seed companies and journalists.
